Hello everyone,
My name is Wagish Sharma, and I recently made the difficult decision to drop out of the MBA program at Amity Online. This decision wasn’t taken lightly, but it was necessary to stand up for fairness, transparency, and the rights of students.
In January 2024, I enrolled in Amity Online’s MBA program with high hopes and expectations. The university had promised a 15% discount on fees for select students for all semesters. This was one of the key factors that influenced my decision to join the program. However, after the first semester, the university went back on its word and demanded full fees for the subsequent semesters. This was not only disappointing but also a breach of trust.
I believe that educational institutions have a responsibility to uphold their commitments and treat students with respect and fairness. When Amity Online failed to honor their promise, I realized that it was essential to take a stand—not just for myself but for all the students who might be facing similar situations.
Dropping out of the MBA program was my way of sending a message: students should not feel trapped or bullied by institutions that do not respect their own commitments. Education is supposed to empower us, not make us feel powerless.
I am sharing my story not just to highlight my own experience, but to raise awareness about the importance of standing up against unfair practices. I hope that my decision encourages other students to speak out and demand accountability from their institutions.
This is not just about me; it’s about creating a culture of fairness and transparency in education. I urge all students to know their rights and to stand up for what is right, even when it’s difficult. Together, we can make a difference and ensure that educational institutions live up to the standards they set.
Thank you for your support, and I encourage you all to share this story so that we can spread awareness and inspire others to take a stand.
Warm regards,
Wagish Sharma
🚨 Attention Amity University! 🚨
I’m reaching out to express my disappointment regarding a 15% discount on tuition fees that was promised to me upon admission. Despite assurances that this discount would be honored throughout my studies, I have recently been informed that it will not be applied beyond the second semester.
This unexpected change has created significant financial strain and confusion. I kindly urge Amity University to review this situation and honor the initial commitment made to students. Transparency and consistency in such matters are crucial for maintaining trust and ensuring a positive educational experience.
I look forward to a prompt resolution and hope this issue can be addressed swiftly. Thank you for your attention to this matter. 🙏
